I remember when I was 10,Viking had a studio opposite where I lived, at Grimsby Town football ground in cleethorpes. I used to eneter the silly competitions, for example,first person to bring the presenter some hot buttered toast cos they were peckish!!! and the prize was a viking mug!!!
You've always been part of my life,as you are now my childrens.
If we go with friends, in a car,and they havent got viking on, I ask them to change channel!!
Heres to the next 25 years.
I remember falling asleep to viking fm when i was a child. I was also infactuated with the DJ Tim Finley??
So much so that my parents took me to Viking FM one day to meet him, it was great, i got a signed photo and loads of records. I will continue to be a listener, here's to the next 25 years...
