Spotlight Awards 2010

Welcome to the Spotlight Awards 2010

They’re for children and young people who’ve achieved amazing things. Whether it’s showing courage, helping others, or overcoming barriers to succeed in sport, arts, or at school – now is the time for Hull’s children and young people to be recognised for their amazing achievements.

The second annual Spotlight Awards will be presented in a glitzy ceremony at the KC Stadium in May.

There will also be awards for adults who’ve gone above and beyond the call of duty in their work with children and young people.

The winners of the Spotlight Awards 2010 have been announced at a glittering awards ceremony at the KC Stadium.

Organised by Hull City Council and Viking FM to celebrate the achievements of Hull's children and young people and the people that work with or support them, the awards were attended by over 300 local people and hosted by actress Sally Lindsay. The evening was a huge success and included guest appearances from local celebrities who chose to support the awards.
