Additional Information for Officials, Competitors and those Accompanying the Teams

Opening Ceremony

This takes place on Tuesday 27 July 2010 at 6.30 pm for 7.00 pm in the Arena. We are pleased to welcome all officials, competitors and those accompanying the teams to this ceremony which will let us all celebrate the start of an exciting week.

Access to Facilities

The final schedule will be posted for Chef d’equipes on arrival. This will show clearly the class start times, the familiarisation sessions, access to training areas and the prize giving schedule. It will also identify the times when arenas are being prepared and the arena is therefore closed for use. All competitors are asked to vacate these areas during this time.

Access to the gallop strip and hacking track will be clearly notified through the same instructions.

Eating outlets

We recommend that a food card to the value of £70 is booked in advance. (See above). This will provide sufficient value for a basic breakfast, snack lunch and an evening main meal for 7 days. The card can be topped up at any time during the week should additional value be needed (details will be provided with the card). There are 4 permanent eating outlets available on site. There will also be a number of mobile outlets available around the site which will be cash only.

The web address is www.bishopburton.ac.uk and further details on the event can be found there.
